World War I Series at the Library May 6, 13 and 17

On April 6, 1917, two days after the U.S. Senate voted 82 to 6 to declare war against Germany, the U.S. House of Representatives endorsed the decision by a vote of 373 to 50, and the United States formally enters the First World War.

The La Vista Public Library will be holding a series of presentations honoring America in WWI.
