Teen Advisory Board (TAB)

Teen Advisory Board (TAB)

Every month TAB meets to discuss library affairs. Meeting times and dates are arranged with the group members to ensure as many as possible can make it. Members are asked to arrive on time or let library staff know as soon as possible if they can not join the monthly meeting.

TAB's Mission Statement:

"The La Vista Public Library’s Teen Advisory Board’s mission is to engage teens with each other and the community in safe, fun, and educational activities. TAB is also devoted to participating in self-started service projects that are worked on individually and as a group." (updated March 2022).

Why Join TAB?

  • You can make a difference in your community.
  • It looks great on resumes and college applications.
