The La Vista Public Library officially opened in its current location on December 1, 1999, expanding from an old 4,000 square foot facility to a spacious modern facility of more than 23,000 square feet.


Library materials include books and periodicals, audiobooks on CDs and cassettes, Music CDs, videos and DVDs, CD-ROMs, and downloadable books, audiobooks, music and magazines. The La Vista Public Library contains a computer lab with online databases, Microsoft Office, Internet access and wireless access including wireless printing.
